Weekend leads: stop losing Monday revenue

Enquiries that arrive Friday night are often dead by Monday. How to handle the weekend without working it.

The worst time for an enquiry to arrive is Friday night, because the business is off and the customer is free to shop around. Weekend enquiries are a revenue leak with a simple fix.

The problem

An enquiry lands at 7pm Friday. Nobody sees it until Monday. By then, the customer has contacted three competitors, one of whom replied on Saturday. The Monday reply arrives too late.

The fix without working weekends

  1. Acknowledge on arrival. An automatic confirmation: thank you, here is what happens next, expect a reply by Monday morning.
  2. Draft and hold. AI drafts the first reply with context, ready for approval.
  3. Alert on Monday. The team gets the queue with drafts pre-filled, and the first conversations happen early Monday.
  4. Optionally, a light weekend touch. If you want, one short personal message on Saturday closes more, but it is optional.

What changes

The enquiry is acknowledged, one competitor is no longer the only one who replied, and Monday starts with a warm, prepared conversation instead of a cold catch-up.

The honest note

An acknowledgement is not a conversation. But it is the difference between being forgotten over the weekend and being the business that responded. That difference decides who gets the Monday call.
