About Nikolas

Documenting political and social landscapes for almost 10 years.

I am a Sydney-based documentary and event photographer, documenting Australia's political and social landscape for almost 10 years.

Reaching more than 13 million views and 49,000+ downloads on Unsplash, my street and protest photography has been used by activists, journalists, charities, universities, and policy researchers across the world.

I have supported community-led organisations such as Echo Change, Tranby National Indigenous Adult Education and Training, Seaside Scavenge, Sony Foundation, batyr, and TEDx through project coordination, event support and photography coverage.

My blog can be found on Substack. Available for commissions and collaboration enquiries.
